1 1/8" Hopi Overlay Bear Paw Earrings
These matte finished Hopi earrings by Hopi artist Darren Seweyestewa feature
the Bear Paw & Prayer Feathers symbols. These earrings have a hanging length of
1 3/8" and our 1/2" wide at the widest point.
Prayer Feathers:
Prayer feathers or "Pahos" are created out of cottonwood root or cedar and
have specific feathers attached to catch the wind. They are generally created to
communicate with the Creator of the Kachinas and are used to accomplish specific
tasks of protection and blessings.
Bear Paw: The bear paw is a symbol of
inner strength, power, authority and leadership.
