	1 5/8" Hopi Silver Overlay Earrings These matte finished Hopi earrings by Hopi artist Darren Seweyestewa feature the Rain Clouds symbol. These earrings have a hanging length of 2 1/4"" and our 5/8" wide at the widest point. Matte finishing is accomplished by using a very fine steel wool during the final polishing phase. Clouds - Rain: The rain clouds, water & rain represent renewal, fertility and overall good fortune. The corn that the Hopi's raise on their high desert plateaus depend upon rain for growth and sustenance. The corn in turn sustains the Hopi people.
