Each Kalifano Gemstone Globe is imported from
China where it has undergone a multi step hand construction process. Using a
cast form to create a perfect sphere the artists carefully inlay a wide variety
of different stones to represent each country. The sheer craftsmanship, solid
weight, and design are impressive to behold! Each Gemstone Globe is made up of
hundreds of hand-cut, hand-shaped semiprecious gemstones, which can take the
artists hundreds of hours to inlay.

Globes are unique, representational art and as such are not meant to portray
exact geographical and typographical accuracy. Kalifano embraces the uniqueness
of each of its' artists and their occasional idiosyncrasies.

Care of your Gemstone Globe:
Use a soft cotton cloth dampened with rubbing
alcohol to shine and remove fingerprints on the Gemstone Globe only. Do not use
rubbing alcohol on the stand as it is too harsh.
Use a soft cotton cloth with a very small
amount of hand lotion to remove fingerprints on the Gemstone Globe Stand. With
a clean dry soft cotton cloth wipe away the hand lotion and shine.
Chemical cleaners or polishers may damage the
surface of the globe and its' stand.
