The Chief Stripe blanket incorporates many of the design elements of "classic period" Navaho weaving. The smooth soft surface of this blanket is completed with soft sueded trim.

Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
