Eye Dazzler Unnapped Pendleton Blanket - Queen
The Eye Dazzler by Pendleton Woolen Mills is a tribute to the Eyedazzler rugs woven by the Navajo weavers in the late 1800's and early 1900's. These weavings featured elaborate serrated diamond designs and were woven with bright colored wools. The effect were very striking weavings that mimiced the serapes of the Hispanic culture in the southwest. This blanket is an unnapped blanket (see below).
Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
