San Miguel Pendleton Blanket - Mocha - Unnapped
The San Miguel is a marriage of two significant influences in the historic Southwest. The blanket imitates the banded "Chiefs Blanket" woven by the Navajos and also incorporates the cross design which springs from the influence of the early Spainish missionaries. This blanket is Mpcha on one side and ivory in the reverse.
Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
