Pendleton has given new birth to an old pattern of their's in the Iroquois Turtle. Legend has it that when Sky woman fell to the earth she landed on a turtle's back. She planted a garden on the back of the turtle and it eventually grew to become North American. This blanket is avialable in twin - full size only.
Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
