Pendleton Tan Spirit of the Peoples Blanket - Unnapped
The Pendleton Spirit of the Peoples blanket celebrates the 100 years of weaving in Pendletons Oregon mill. The two center bands contain six bands of color running through directional crosses which represent the four directions of Mother Earth. Five of the bands of color represent each generation of the family who have run the mill with the sixth white band representing the future generations to come.

Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
