Pendleton Zapotec Blanket - King - Unnapped
The Pendleton Zapote blanket features the classice geometric designs of the Zapotec indians of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Zaptec indians had woven colorful cotton cloth when they were introduced by the Spaniards to wool. Along with the introduction to wool came spinning wheels and looms which resulted in the beautiful blankets that they have become famous for. Colors include gray, black, white and orange.

Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
