The Pendleton Ceremonial Stripe blanket is a sampler of Native American inspired symbols and colors this pattern has its origins anywhere illustration that accompanied a line of Pendleton blankets made 1924 in the original black white drawing a Native American chief wearing a robe that inspired our re-creation. The original Pendleton design was created to appeal to its first blanket customers, Native American peoples of the West.
