This blanket is part of Pendleton's Heritage Collection. Each of the blankets in the Heritage Collection represents old Pendleton designs dating as far back as 1896. This blanket celebrates the Navaho or Dine people of New Mexico and Arizona! The Navaho wove wearing blankets similar to this with distinctive bands of color.
Unnapped Blanket: The fibers of an unnapped blanket have not been pilled which produces a thinner and denser feeling blanket. Many of the old Pendleton blankets were unnapped.
