2007 Edition of the Legendary Collection - Sacred Dance
This design depicts the powerful symbols of the Cree people and how they relate to and communicate to their Creator. Painted horses stand proudly in reference to the Horse Dance a sacred dance. In the center circle, which is a representation of a prayer drum are four thunderbirds who bring life nourishing rain to the people and carry their prayers to the creator. Lightening bolts found on either side of the prayer drum represent the voices of the Thunderbirdes & Yellow represents the sun, red the night, and blue is the day. A full story card is included with each blanket.
