Legendary Collection

Pendleton’s Legendary blankets incorporate legends, nature, life, and spirituality that is honored and revered by the American Indian cultures of the Mid and Southwest

The designs are derived from the plains Indians, the Iroquois, the Sioux, the Chickasaw, and the Pueblo Indians. All the blankets in the Legendary series incorporate the imagery of the cosmos (sun, stars, moon, skies), as well as the flora (squash, beans, corn) and fauna (bear, buffalo, elk, thunderbirds) that was sacred to them.
