A USA-made wool blanket based on a watercolor painting by Joe Toledo. The design represents the three elements: Earth, Air and Water. A herd of bison grazes on the Earth, offering prosperity and protection. A range of mountains stands behind, their snowy peaks covered with life-giving Water. Standing eagle feathers rise into the sky, joining together Earth, Water and Air.

This blanket takes me back to Wyoming and Montana
5 out of 5
Location: Cascade Mountains, OR
Date: November 13, 2020
The Grand Tetons, Bison fattening with the late summer browned grass, soon these peaks and valleys will become dormant for the seasonal nap of winter. Nothing moves, but the bison and elk in the valley and plains below, and the Golden Eagle above. I once found a Golden Eagle feather in the Tom Miner Basin adjacent to Yellowstone. I once was caught in the first fall snows backpacking in the Mountains of the Grand Tetons. I once hiked amongst a wild herd of bison around the warm spring at Jackson Hole. Now, I am an old man, but I am warm with this blanket. I recall and live the power of these magnificent wild lands where nature prevails.
