Hopi Turtle Band Ring

Hopi band ring by Kevin Takala featuring the turtle symbol which has within it's shell prayer feathers. Surrounding the rest of the ring are the symbols for water and clouds. A beautiful ring with very nice detail and symbolism.

Turtle: Symbolizes, water, strength, perseverance, good luck and long life.

Prayer Feathers: Prayer feathers or "Pahos" are created out of cottonwood root or cedar and have specific feathers attached to catch the wind. They are generally created to communicate with the Creator of the Kachinas and are used to accomplish specific tasks of protection and blessings.
