Pendleton Earth College Fund Blanket - Unnapped

The Pendleton Hidatsa Earth blanket contains four crosses symbolizing the four cardinal directions. The design is similar to a photograph taken by Edward S. Curtis and contains geometric designs embodying the earth and sky, with mountains and patterns representing wheat, grass and seeds. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this blanket benefit the American College Indian Fund.
