Pendleton Celebrate the Horse Blanket

From the Blackfoot tribe, horsemanship has been celebrated for centuries. Our Celebrate the Horse blanket is inspired by a design from them, and it features the majestic imagery of a brave warrior and their loyal steed, a magnificent creature renowned for its strength and size. The arrival of Spanish Conquistadors in the 16th century brought the horse to the Great Plains and had an impactful, long-lasting effect on the Native Americans - encouraging migration, trading, herding and hunting.

As a part of our Legendary Collection, this design pays tribute to the stories and symbols of Native American cultures, with a new USA-made collector's blanket being added each year.
